It was a Heavy Downpour for more than an hour around Johor Bahru area (4pm - 10th Apr 2009). The common flood area at Rosmerah area of Taman Johor Jaya was full of water! It's was about 1-1.5 meter deep! The actual location is along Jalan Rosmerah Utama towards Seroja area, just under the Pasir Gudang Highway (bridge) (N1°32.110' E103°47.849').
I saw a Perodua Kancil and Toyota van stuck in the middle of the water! The van was stuck just under the bridge and the water was covered the 4 tyres (about 1.5 meter deep).
The deluge even squeeze in to this row of shop lots!
One of the car (looks like Honda) was swept away by the water, and the whole car overturn at behind of the shoplots.
The rain last for almost 3 hours and it started to slow down...everything back to normal after that except the owner of the vehicles...
