When we woke up the next day (11am), most of the members had gone back...Left only 4 families - GPSSin, OngCC, Antyong & me.
So we decided to have our lunch at Muar. After almost one hour drive, we reached the Merlin Restaurant at Taman Orkid, Muar.
Our order :-
1) Vegetables
2) Muar Otak-Otak
3) Sambal Squid
4) Sambal Shrimp
5) Japanese Tou-Fu
6) Deep Fried fish ("Dragon Tongue" in Chinese)
7) Assam Fish x2 (The Signature Dish)
They maintain the foods standard very well (Rated : 4.5/5).
I had visited this restaurant many time, and the Assam Fish is just Marvelous!! Except don't visit it during Chinese New Year, because I believe the main chef will on-leave and the substitute will take over....and the Assam Fish standard drop! I tried it once!
All of us were satisfied with the foods. Two thumbs up!
It only took us about 15 minutes to finish all the foods on the table. You can imagine how delicious about the foods! Haha!
The damage was : MYR108.00 (For 8 adults and 3 children)
That was about MYR27.00 per family! It was just unbelievable CHEAP!
I will visit this restaurant very often! Do you?

Malfreemaps Mapping Discussion at Gunung Ledang Resort, Johor
The discussion started after our dinner at Seng Kee Restaurant.
Where the big boys in one group and all others family members in other group. We discuss many issue about the map and the community. Purely serious discussion for almost 3 hours!
when it was about 11:00pm, someone ( I forgot who was that) said he need some water and the restaurant already close, then someone gave a very fast answer :"Just bring our Beer!"
The situation just seems like everyone found an Oasis in the desert! Haha! But the discussion still carry on and we need to discipline ourself.....
The bell rang on almost 1am! Then the discussion finished and follow by party time!! :)
Everyone started to change their concentration to the cold box!! We began our 'Talk-Cock" session again!
The Carlsberg beers were sponsored by MG and the Godfather beers by Edmund.
Our chit chat covered every topic under the sun! Even the Story about the Puteri (Princess) of Gunung Ledang. The history surrounding......
Fancheng (Member from Negri Sembilan) was so kind enough to prepare the supper for us! The "Seremban Siew Pow" and the "Tan-Tat". The Siew Pow is one of my favorite!
Jaguar trying show us that after so many can of beers, he still can post message to MFM forum.
The session end about 4:30am! That was the time everyone were so tired and exhausted...
The night end with joyful moment! And....good night!

Seng Kee Restaurant at Jementah, Johor
Seng Kee Restaurant located along the main road of the town. (N2°25.711' E102°40.649'). It is about 16KM away from Gunung Ledang Resort.
We occupied 4 tables with 9 families and 8 singles. We filled the restaurant with full of joyful moments in every corner!
One of our senior member "pauchai" did the order for our dinner, we don't mind what they have...as long as tasty! :)
Before the foods serve, 'Jaguar' be our Tiger Beer Promoter! He was busy running around every table to serve the beer! He's the man! None of us can escape from him, everyone has a glass of Beer after 5 minutes! Haha!
Jaguar trying to explain how to identify Tiger and Tigress....as he was holding 2 bottles (refer to the pictures above), he said the taste also different from each other. He was sharing the knowleadge.....but Singawon was so doubtful!!
The dinner was serve in about 20 minutes later, it was the silent during that moment, except some folks and spoons craching sound.....yeah, everyone were hungry.....:)
Our order :-
1) Japanese Tau-fu (Signature Dish)
2) Vegetables
3) Steam Africa Flying Fish
4) Guinness Pork Rib (Signature Dish)
5) Lemon Chicken
6) Wildboar cook with ginger
But the quite moment only last for 15 minutes, everyone almost finish the foods on the table....and continue the 'Talk-Cock' session again..... :)
I saw smile on everyone face, and I believe it's cause by the foods!! Haha! It was really good! I love the 'Guinness Pork Rib' very much!!
But among all, below these two guys won the 'Best Smile of the Night'!!
The damage was MYR45.00 per family!! It's reasonable and CHEAP!
Some of us act like a Media reporter to interview the Chef of the Restaurant about the recipe of the foods....and the Chef was kind and generous enough to tell us everything under the sun....
Below are the photos of the foods we didn't order...
MG and wife from Segamat joined us during the dinner.....
We finished our dinner in about 2 hours, and drove back to the Resort for our Serious Discussion session.....
The story continue.....

Malfreemaps.com Mega GG (Gathering) at Gunung Ledang 2009
We drive from JB around 12:45hrs. Exit at Pagoh Toll and towards, Panchor....then Bukit Gambir, Sagil....reached the Gunung Ledang Resort (N2°20.902' E102°38.154') at 15:45hrs.
I thought we were late to check-in, unexpectedly....most of the members also arrived at the same moment.
We had a bad luck that, our room 13A Power Point was not working. Call up the maintenance guy to verify but he cannot figured out the problem too! Luckily, we changed the next room. The staff at the Reception was friendly.
After settle the room, my wife & daughter exploring around the resort and I join the Malfreemaps group at the restaurant area to kick start our GG (Geek Gathering)! There were total of 16 members and their family.
We started with our 'Talk-Cock' session and it last for 2 hours until we all went for our dinner at Jementah.....
Malfreemaps actually is a group of GPS Enthusiasts who love GPS and Mapping very much. We do it as a hobby and hope to see more peoples who have the same interest that can join this community. If you wanna know more about it, please visit http://www.malfreemaps.com

My Indonesia Trip on March 2009
There were many things that surprised me on my Indonesia trip.
I was impressed about the peoples around are so friendly. Especially the Security Guard. Beside that, foods and expenses are lower than Malaysia.
We bought a big bottle of Carlsberg for MYR5.50 and Guinness Stout for MYR7.50. Most of the cigarette are selling around MYR3.00.
Public transport like mini bus was MYR0.90 to anyway within the route. And if you take cab, they are running on meter where IDR5000.00 (MYR1.50) when you aboard and subsequently increase by IDR500.00 (MYR0.15).
even if you like to have a hair cut in the Shopping Complex only cost you MYR4.60!
What I regretted was....I haven't taste the Nasi Padang over there and even the street foods...
Anyway, I love to visit again if possible with more days to explore the surrounding....

Jakarta International Airport, Indonesia
Jakarta International Airport (S6°07.436' E106°39.103')
We reached the Airport almost 6pm. Took a burger from A&W fast food stall (Burger and Root Beer Float cost MYR9.40) and quickly snap around the Airport for my collections....
The Airport is Huge!
There are many Statue around the Airport, even more along the Highway...
You won't lost your way because the signage are big enough.
Inside the airport...
After we finish our 'burger', the time was limited and we have to check-in to our flight.
Upon check-in, we realized that the ticket we purchased from Airasia was not include the Airport tax in Indonesia. I was panic at the moment because we finished our Rupiah! Luckily the officer was kind enough to accept Malaysia Ringgit...
I wonder why during my booking through Airasia website, it was not mention at all!
After check-in, we were passed by the Duty Free Shops...
I did not buy anything from the shops, the reason was they only deal in USD. And after the conversion, all the stuffs was expensive than Malaysia.
I was surprised that the 'Smoking Area' in the waiting area actually is a 'Cafe'. It's different from Senai Airport (Johor Bahru), Changi Airport (Singapore) and Taipei Airport. They are just a 'small' room with Full of smoke inside. I believe the smokers at Indonesia are really enjoy their smoking places! Haha!
The actual flight was 18:55hrs (Indo time), 19:55hrs (MY time). But before take off, it delayed for about 30 minutes because of the Heavy Traffic on the sky....
We started to fly on 19:30hrs (Indo time), 20:30hrs (MY time). It tooks 1 hour 45 minutes to reached Senai Airport at Johor.
That's end my trip to Cikarang, Indonesia.
Home sweet home...

Cikarang, Indonesia
We walked around the Cikarang area on the 3rd day. I took many photos around the area, would like to share with you all....
I was so curious about the bunch peoples waiting outside the Bank BTN just beside the hotel. I saw the situation two days since I was there...just wondering what they are waiting for?!
After a while, I saw these two security guard around the bank area...Initially I thought he's a police?! Because they dress like police in Malaysia...
One of the common car in Indonesia...."Kijang"
When we reached the road junction, finally we saw the traffic police! I was curious to know about their uniform and also the vehicle....
We just crossed the street and walked towards the Carrefour Hypermart (S6°18.661' E107°08.672') at Cikarang. According to my client, the locals here will spend heavily after they get their paid. Most of them will slow down until their pocket money are almost empty! Then wait for another next month salary to start soending again!
I spotted this Police Vehicle while we had a drink in one coffeeshop. Ops! They named it 'Restuarant' over here.
There are many small stalls like this along the road (Jalan Cikarang-Cibarusah). and most of them are almost same size...
We went back to hotel around 2pm and waiting for our transport to Airport. The traffic congestion here is bad, so we need to hit on road 3 hours in advance before our flight on 1855hrs Indonesia time!
During the journey to the Airport, I still continue to take pictures....because my card not Full yet! Haha!
While passed by the flyover, I noticed the safety net was full of rubbish! Don't they care? Hmm.....I don't know....
We reached the Airport around 6pm. The journey took 2 hours 30 minutes for 70km. I think you can imagine the traffic congestion along the road....
I will blog about the Airport in the next post....

The car is manufacture by the joint venture of Toyota and local company, it's also same with Toyota Unser in Malaysia.
